This is the last of five videos recorded together over the Pacific Ocean in 2019 and handed to AARO by the Navy’s UAP Task Force in 2022. Like DOW-UAP-PR126, it was filmed on a handheld device by a U.S. service member in low light, rather than captured from a sensor display.

One light, followed with interruptions

Where its companion shows several lights, AARO describes this clip only in terms of “an apparent light source.” The camera pans to follow it in a series of segments separated by short stretches with nothing in frame: roughly 0:18 to 0:26, 0:44 to 0:47, 0:50 to 0:52 and 0:57 to 1:02. From 1:02 the camera stays with the light for almost a minute and a half, to the end of the clip at 2 minutes 29 seconds.

What the clip can’t settle

The release does not say whether the gaps came from the light disappearing, the camera losing it, or editing; AARO says only that the media was digitally altered before it was reported and is presented as received. Low light, it adds, affects picture quality. There is no information on direction, distance, whether each segment shows the same light, or whether it was one of the lights seen in the companion clip. The case is listed as unresolved, with no explanation. The screen recordings from the same event start with DOW-UAP-PR123.

The official description

From war.gov/UFO, released August 7, 2026, quoted in full

The United States Navy Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF) transferred this media to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) in 2022. The video contains 2 minutes and 29 seconds of footage captured via a hand-held recording device by a U.S. military service member in 2019. Low-light conditions at the time of capture influence the overall visual quality of the footage. The footage contained within DOW-UAP-PR123 through DOW-UAP-PR127 was captured contemporaneously. This media was digitally altered before being reported to AARO, and is presented as it was received.
