PENTAGON UFO FILE · VIDEO · DOW-UAP-PR104Unresolved UAP Report, Yellow Sea, 2025
This short clip, recorded over the Yellow Sea in 2025, is among the most recent INDOPACOM videos in the fourth PURSUE release. U.S. Indo-Pacific Command forwarded it to AARO; the platform, date and exact location are not given, and no operator account or mission report accompanies it. The release lists it at 18 seconds.
The star shape
Nearly the whole clip is a single action: the sensor pans to keep one patch of contrast centered. What makes it distinctive is the outline. AARO says the contrast resembles a six-pointed star, a description of how it looks on the display rather than a claim about the physical object’s form. The description mentions no change of shape, no second object and no switch of sensor mode.
Weighing an image like this
On an infrared display, an outline is built from temperature differences and can be shaped by the sensor’s optics and processing as well as by the object itself, so a striking shape is a starting point for analysis, not a conclusion. The release offers no range, size, speed or explanation, and AARO stresses that its wording is not an analytical judgment. The case is listed as unresolved. A much longer Yellow Sea clip is DOW-UAP-PR100; on the sensor type, see FLIR.
