Most UAP reports in the release come from witnesses. In this FD-1057, the observers are FBI special agents. In November 2024 two agents spent an evening at the northeastern U.S. home described in FBI-UAP-D006, to check reports and videos the resident had supplied over three years. It was about 48 degrees and overcast, with no rain.

What the agents logged

From about 4:45 p.m. on the patio, the resident first pointed out lights believed to be houses and other fixed structures, and others said to be eight miles away whose source was uncertain. Some twenty minutes later one agent saw a pulse of white light appear near the edge of the woods and dart sideways for under ten seconds. It cast no reflection on the water and lit nothing below it, which the memo says left open the possibility that it was over the wooded area; it seemed to be at or below treetop height.

Along the western tree line an agent repeatedly saw lights flash white and blue and vanish, steadier than the first, and broad plumes of light followed by a red or white flash that moved erratically. Around 5:30 p.m. both agents saw a bright white light above a red one at the far end of a pond, at treetop height, move fast from right to left, vanish, then reappear where it started and repeat the move. They left at about 6:15 p.m.

What it does not settle

The agents describe what they saw without naming a cause. Five photos were taken but came out mostly blurred; they concluded a tripod was needed for long exposures. A clip from the same area is “Orbs Over the Pond.”
