PENTAGON UFO FILE · VIDEO · DOW-UAP-PR065USCG C-144 Tyndall UAP 2 TIC TAC IR hot 24 April 2024
Where most clips in this set are credited to an unnamed U.S. military platform, AARO says this one likely came from an infrared sensor on a Coast Guard platform, in 2024, over the southeastern United States. The uploader’s title fills in more: “C-144,” which matches the designation of the Coast Guard’s twin-engine maritime patrol plane, the HC-144 Ocean Sentry; Tyndall, an Air Force base on the Florida Panhandle; a date of 24 April 2024; and the description “TIC TAC IR hot.” It is the second of two numbered clips; the first is DOW-UAP-PR066.
What the clip shows
Of the pair, this clip holds its target longest. For the first 32 seconds the camera pans to keep a patch of contrast in view. Then, at the 33-second mark, it swings to the left and the target leaves by the right side of the frame. Nothing else is described. “IR hot” means the object showed up warmer than its surroundings on the infrared picture, which on its own is consistent with many ordinary sources of heat.
The “Tic Tac” label
The nickname comes from the 2004 Navy encounter off California, when pilots described a white, pill-shaped object; see Tic Tac. Here it is the uploader’s comparison only. AARO does not describe the target’s shape, does not link the two events, and stresses that its timeline is not an analytical judgment. The video was posted on a classified network in June 2024, about two months after the date in its title.
The official description
From war.gov/UFO, released May 22, 2026, quoted in full
On March 6, 2026, eight members of the U.S. House of Representatives requested access to 51 potentially UAP-related records allegedly held by the Department of War and the Intelligence Community. The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) identified a collection of responsive materials held on a classified network. Many of these materials lack a substantiated chain-of-custody.
AARO assesses that this video, whose uploader-defined title is, “USCG C-144 Tyndall UAP 2 TIC TAC IR hot 24 April 2024,” is likely derived from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. Coast Guard platform operating in the Southeastern United States in 2024. A user uploaded this video to a classified network in June 2024.
