PENTAGON UFO FILE · VIDEO · DOW-UAP-PR110Unresolved UAP Report, Eastern United States, 2020
This Northern Command clip was recorded in 2020 in the eastern United States and runs 27 seconds. The release does not say what platform carried the infrared sensor, and no operator account or debrief is published alongside it.
What changes on screen
After two empty seconds a patch of contrast appears right of center, and the operator pans after it; the panning makes it seem to wander around the frame. From about 0:11 an auto-tracking reticle locks around it. During that lock the contrast gradually grows in angular size, meaning it fills more of the field of view, and between 0:20 and 0:22 it exits on the right.
What growing angular size can mean
An object grows in angular size if it is getting closer, if it is getting physically larger, or if the camera zooms in. AARO’s description mentions no zoom in this segment, but it draws no conclusion either. With no range data or witness account, the clip cannot separate these possibilities, and AARO says its description is not an analytical judgment. The case is unresolved. Another Northern Command clip with an auto-tracking lock from the same year is DOW-UAP-PR108.
The official description
From war.gov/UFO, released July 10, 2026, quoted in full
The United States Northern Command submitted a report of an unidentified anomalous phenomenon to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) consisting of 27 seconds of video footage from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform in 2020.
Video Description: 00:01-00:02: No content. 00:03-00:10: An area of contrast become visible to the right of the center of the frame. The sensor pans to track the area of contrast, causing it to appear to move about the field-of-view. 00:11-00:19: An auto-tracking reticle surrounds the area of contrast. The area of contrast gradually increases in angular size. 00:20-00:22: The area of contrast exits the sensor field-of-view to the right side of the frame.
