FD-1057-04, Northeastern United States, 2024

This FD-1057 records a sit-down interview in October 2024, held at an FBI office, with the person at the center of the northeastern U.S. reports in files D004 to D008. The witness walked agents through a presentation and videos already given to the Bureau and described three years of sightings near home.

The first sighting and after

The first, in 2021, came around 5 a.m. while the witness was exercising indoors. Lights outside a back window looked at first like someone with a flashlight. Outside, a single light split into two or three, forming a triangle with a light in the middle that lasted about ten minutes. While filming on a smartphone, the witness accidentally fired the flash, and the lights at once disappeared. The footage connected with that morning is “Triangle Orbs.”

The witness said sightings usually come at dusk or at night, the lights seeming to morph and slide sideways, and claimed hundreds of them, with more activity since September and frequently corrupted video. A March 2022 clip, “Red Orb Rotation,” came from a different spot. To weed out airplanes, the witness matched sighting times and directions against ADS-B data — the position signals aircraft broadcast automatically.

Points the redactions blur

The interview also recounts a LinkedIn conversation with a person whose name and former employer are redacted, who said “people have been hurt by these things,” and a 1996 story of a car that lost power under a bright light in New Mexico on a drive from Fort Bliss to Fort Carson; redactions obscure whose story that was. This memo says the witness has lived at the property since 2021, while D004 says 2006, and the release does not clarify whether both describe the same person.
