PENTAGON UFO FILE · DOCUMENT · LLE-UAP-D003Transcript of an Unresolved UAP Report, Colorado, October 2023
This is the shortest and emptiest of the four Colorado law enforcement transcripts AARO published in September 2026. It accompanies LLE-UAP-PR003, a clip of under half a minute that an officer recorded in October 2023. AARO stripped the sound from the published video, as it did for the whole set, and normally the transcript would tell readers what was being said. Here it reports that there was nothing to tell.
What the transcript contains
After the standard preamble, the body of the document is a single statement: the recording holds only indistinct background noise and no discernible dialogue. There are no time stamps, no description of the object and no redacted passages — the file is listed as unredacted, which fits, since there was no speech to black out. The officer’s identity is still withheld, as for all four recordings.
That means the video has to stand on its own. Anyone wanting a law enforcement account of what was in the sky in Colorado that month should look to the companion transcript LLE-UAP-D002, where an officer narrates a 15-minute recording and describes earlier sightings.
Why it is still in the release
AARO appears to have produced a transcript for every recording in the set, so the absence of speech is itself recorded rather than left unexplained. The usual caveat applies: the Pentagon lists the event as unresolved, which means it has not been explained, not that the clip shows anything out of the ordinary.
The official description
From war.gov/UFO, released September 18, 2026, quoted in full
This document is a transcript of a 27-second video recording contained in this collection under the title LLE-UAP-PR003, captured by a law enforcement officer in Colorado in October 2023. AARO removed the audio from the original recording to protect information whose release could reasonably be expected to affect the privacy or other protected interests of a U.S. person or commercial entity. This transcript is also redacted to protect the identity of the reporter and sensitive law enforcement information.
All descriptive and estimative language in this transcript reflects the reporter’s subjective interpretation at the time of the event. Such characterizations should not be interpreted as a conclusive indication of the presence or absence of any intrinsic object features or performance characteristics.
